Our first two days in Moultrie were a success! It has been such an honor to be an integral part of this great Farmworker program! I would like to thank all of the people who have gathered here for the next two weeks. We have already accomplished so much. We had a great day today by gathering all the supplies and organizing them into stations for our first day seeing the kiddos at Cox Elementry School tomorrow. We can’t wait to hang out with the little ones! After setting up at the school today, we had an amazing lunch courtesy of St. Margret’s Episcopal Church today. P.S. the desserts were PHENOMEONAL. Thank you so much for providing us with a wonderful meal! This evening, following another great meal sponsored my the Hampton Inn, we headed to our first night camp and organized Circle Road into our many different stations: Intake, blood pressure, glucose and hemoglobin, height/weight/BMI, NP’s, PT, pharmacy and dental. Everyone had a wonderful time getting to know the community members and providing them with whatever health services they needed. It’s only been two days and the community has already been so welcoming and appreciative, and we can’t wait to see what the next two weeks have in store! More posts and pictures to come!
